Laser Resurfacing to Improve a Variety of Facial Skin Conditions
The Laser Facial Rejuvenation treatment at The Studio Med Spa helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pore size, improve color and sunspots, lighten under-eye circles, and tighten up the skin tone. Using a proprietary combination of ablative and nonabalitive lasers, the outer layer of skin is precisely and gently destroyed while the underlying skin (dermis) is heated up to stimulate collagen regeneration. The result is smoother, firmer skin with a more even appearance and tone.
What is the Process Like?
The first 40 minutes of each treatment begins with the application of topic numbing cream. Once numbed, the laser session begins which typically lasts about 30 min. We use different lasers with different settings based on each individual’s needs and skin condition. Pain and discomfort are minimal, but your face will be red, like a deep sunburn for about 3-4 days afterward. The skin resurfacing and rejuvenating process will continue for the next several weeks after that. We recommend 3 treatments scheduled 4 - 6 weeks apart.
